Paperghost reports at his blog and at SpywareGuide (in detail), about what seems silly at first, but might have a variety of impacts to the user and the blogger.

A blogger had inserted a script to his page, showing a html file explaining why one is blocked if (s)he is visiting using Firefox. The basic reasoning is, that Mozilla had allowed the script Adblock Plus . Further going into reasoning that this extension would decrease the income stream generated by the ads displayed and hence the ability to keep a website running.

I have to apologise for the lack of updates. It turned out to be far more tags added than anticipated and I have changed my html editor again to make it easier for me to edit the tutorial. I hope to do bits every now and then in the near future, as I now got a bit of spare time at evenings again. I will post here again, when I ve made some “progress.”

I have added some functionality to the wordpress theme. It now supports feedburner (see link to right and the image link at the footer) and the “bookmark” feature to follow a post or the entire blog via any rss reader (app or online).

its not that I have been really “ignoring” my blog. There is just nothing that I regard like totally worth blogging about.

I am currently rewriting the translation of Grinler’s HijackThis tutorial, which is a fair bit of work. Currently I am searching for a <b> tag that hasn’t been closed properly lol. So excuse if the tutorial looks a bit out of context. Should be fixed soon I hope.

just wanted to have this first post up. Thanks to Atri (Atribune.org) I finally got wordpress up on my server and can now get back into hopefully regular postings.
